Review by hotel critic
If you're considering Gaia Residence for your next family vacation in Porto, here's the scoop. Located a bit outside the old town but conveniently close to the Metro, the place has its perks. The spacious rooms are a plus, especially for families like mine, accommodating two adults and two kids comfortably. We appreciated the small touches, like a prepared cot for our toddler, which showed the staff's attention to families. I faced confusion at the entrance, as it doubles with the Holiday Inn-definitely not ideal for first-timers. The atmosphere could be more serene; walls aren't exactly soundproof. On the plus side, the amenities like free Wi-Fi and a decent breakfast are pretty good. Though it may seem luxurious, consider your budget: there are other choices that might offer better value for more peaceful stays. Just weigh the costs against what you expect for a family getaway. Safe travels!
